February 13, 2015Sarah Coutu a fifth-grader at St. Cecilia School, Pawtucket has been named a Distinguished Finalist for the State of Rhode Island's Prudential Spirit of Community Award. Sarah has also received the President's Volunteer Service Award Gold Level for 2014 for outstanding National and Community Service. Sarah has raised $700 dollars to benefit a local shelter by selling homemade jewelry and hair clips through an organization she founded called "Paws for Life." Sarah has also volunteered thousands of hours to local animal shelters. Congratulations Sarah!
